1:1:1 | A Little Reminder of Why I Started

I am glad that you are still here with me. I hope you're finding your own little reasons to keep going.

1 thing I learned

from My start-up journey

This week reminded me that sometimes, the smallest moments can mean the most.

I've been busy making and selling Vietnamese phở and AvoActivate avocado drinks, reaching out to potential customers, and sharing my journey online. There are still many things I haven't figured out, and sometimes I wonder whether what I'm doing is making any difference.

Then I met Victoria at the sauna.

We started chatting about my mom's homemade aloe vera hair product, and I shared a little about my food, drinks, and website. Later, she sent me a lovely message saying that my journey encouraged her to believe she could pursue something meaningful too.

Her words touched me more than she probably realised.

I'm still building, still learning, and still figuring things out. But that message reminded me that even before a business becomes successful, the journey itself can encourage someone else.

I don't know exactly where all of this will lead, but I know I want to keep creating something meaningful for my family and for others.

Sometimes, we may be making more of a difference than we realise.

1 question for you

Have you ever received a kind message or had a small moment that reminded you why you started something?

1 tip for your health & wellbeing

A warm bowl of ginger tea, the Vietnamese way.

In many Vietnamese households, fresh ginger is used in warm drinks, especially on chilly days. Try steeping a few slices of fresh ginger in hot water for a comforting drink.
