1:1:1 | Learning From the Market and My Mom’s Hair-Care Habit

I hope you’ve had a wonderful week and are ready to welcome a new one. Time really does fly, and I’m so happy you’re still here with me as we celebrate Week 6 together 🥰.

Wishing you a beautiful Sunday and a fresh start to the week ahead!

1 thing I learned

from My start-up journey

This Saturday, I visited West End Market to observe how other food and drink stalls operate.

Two stalls caught my attention. One sold colourful matcha drinks, while another offered kombucha in cans and jars.

I noticed how they displayed their products, presented their menus, and made it easy for customers to try something before deciding to buy.

It got me thinking about AvoActivate. I want people to be able to see it, try it, and take it away easily one day. So, instead of guessing how my own stall should look, I’m learning by observing what other businesses are already doing.

Sometimes, we can learn a lot by paying attention to what other people are already doing well.

1 question for you

When you walk past a food or drink stall, what makes you stop and want to try something?

1 tip for your health & wellbeing

My mum uses fresh aloe vera on her hair regularly. She removes the yellow liquid, applies the clear gel to her scalp, and gently massages it in. Her consistency has helped her hair become fuller, and she wants me to try it too!

It’s a lovely family tip. If you try it, patch-test first because even the clear gel can irritate some people's skin.
