Holding Faith and Uncertainty at the Same Time

10 August 2026 · 5 min read

Believing something will work out isn't the same as knowing how. Learning to sit in that gap changed how I make decisions.

For a long time I thought certainty was the goal, and doubt was a signal I'd chosen wrong.

Faith, for me, isn't certainty about outcomes. It's a steadiness that lets me act while the outcome is still unknown.

That steadiness is practical. It's what lets me ship something imperfect, ask for honest feedback, and not fall apart when the answer is 'not yet'.

You don't need to resolve the uncertainty before you move. You need something to hold onto while you do.
